At Las Ventanas de Playa Grande, we
made a choice leading to environmental sustainability.
Constituted as a low density project (3.5 units per
hectare), we hope to provide inspiration to develop a
community that will be both beautiful and sustainable.
Some of the steps that have been taken in this direction
are:
• Leaving more than half the land
of the project in its natural state through a
low-density site design.
• An important percentage of the developed areas will
be gardened with native species.
• Preservation of large tracts of native vegetation and
natural drainage patterns.
• Water management methods that reduce runoff and
facilitate water conservation, such as mandatory sewage
treatment plants.
• Save energy by taking advantage of natural light and
ventilation, microclimate gardening, encouraging the
use of energy efficient materials, LED illumination
systems and panels for private and common areas.
• We hire local staff to support the community.

The Architectural Concept
established for Las Ventanas de Playa Grande is a
Tropical Contemporary Style, based on bioclimatic
principles and sustainable development, which goal
is to meet our needs and aspirations while
ensuring we leave our world healthy enough so the
future generations can meet theirs.
Tropical Contemporary Architecture brings a modern
perspective of comfort according to the spirit of
our time, allowing ourselves to live and enjoy the
present. It takes advantage of technology and
traditional resources to encourage an authentic
tropical living style.
Las Ventanas Playa Grande
is an exclusive residential community neighboring
the Leatherback National Marine Park, which acts in
harmony with the environment, promoting social and
economic welfare of local communities.
Become a sustainable
community through the implementation of our
architectural guidelines, respect for the native
landscape and its standards of quality and safety
will be the role model in Guanacaste. This will
ensure greater quality of life for its residents and
employees, the integrity of nature that includes, as
well as socio-cultural development of local
communities.
